July’s BA5 event hosted by Law Corner

July’s BA5 event was hosted by Law Corner, the region’s newest law firm, which was launched by Teresa Stoltz at the beginning of this year. Attendees were welcomed to the recently fitted-out premises with nibbles and drinks, and an introduction by Nigel Belsham on behalf of the Business Rangitīkei committee.

Teresa then gave us a bit of her background, having worked in law from her teenage years and completing her qualifications as a lawyer last year. She shared part of her journey in founding Law Corner in response to recognising there was demand for another local option when it comes to legal services.

With a focus on property law, Law Corner has set out to be approachable, reliable, and local. The focus on locality was highlighted by photos displayed in the offices which provided a personal talking point for our members, as well as acknowledging local individuals and businesses that continue to provide support to Law Corner. In return, Teresa is proud to have employed locally and to support the community through sponsorships and public speaking.

It was such a lively evening of conversation and connection that we were completely caught up in it and didn’t take any photos! The first photo below features the outside of the building, while the second captures the fantastic prize from the draw kindly organised by Teresa. Guests were invited to vote for their favourite of the photos displayed throughout the office – all featuring local and nearby scenes.

Thank you to our members and visitors, and especially to our hosts Teresa and Melanie at Law Corner for an engaging evening. We look forward to seeing you at our next event!
