A great turnout tonight for the May BA5, hosted by Mighty Pressure Washing and sponsored by the Rangitīkei District Council.
Joshua Anderson shared the story behind the business, which began just two years ago with door knocking and a small window washing kit. Since then, Mighty Pressure Washing has grown into a team of three, with Josh, his wife Anicke, and Liam, who helps with exterior maintenance work.
As homeowners themselves, they understand the importance of trust and care when working on people’s properties, and pride themselves on listening to customers’ needs and treating every home as if it were their own.
Mighty Pressure Washing services residential, commercial, and rural properties across the Rangitīkei, Feilding, and Whanganui areas. They also brought along some of their equipment tonight, giving attendees a closer look at the different pressures, brushes, and tools they use to tailor their services to each job.
Steven, current President and committee member of Business Rangitīkei, reminded members that new year membership sign-ups are now underway, including the option to have your business listed on the Business Directory on the Business Rangitīkei website.
Teresa, current Treasurer and committee member of Business Rangitīkei, spoke about the upcoming Special General Meeting on 9 June, where members will vote on the proposed new rules ahead of registration under the new Incorporated Societies Act. While the proposed rules are largely in line with current operations, one key change is increasing the maximum number of committee members to 10.
