Our second BA5 for this month was proudly hosted by Hautapu Rural Supplies in Taihape, with manager Neil Merwood sharing valuable insights into the range of services and products the business provides to the local community. Neil also spoke candidly about some of the current challenges being faced in the industry, receiving strong support and constructive feedback from those in attendance.
Close to 30 people took part in the evening, including Mayor Andy Watson, District Councillors, and Community Board member Gill Duncan, all showing their continued commitment to Taihape’s business community.
There was great engagement from attendees, with several guests contributing thoughtful perspectives throughout the night. It was particularly encouraging to see a strong turnout from outside the Taihape area, highlighting the spirit of collaboration and support across the wider Rangitīkei region.
